A unified dataset of in vitro metabolic activity measurements representing human and murine cell survival percentages after 24-hour exposure to iron carbide nanoparticles (ICNPs). It comprises distinct physicochemical characteristics of nanoparticles with spherical iron carbide cores of different phases (Fe2C, Fe3C, and Fe5C2), shell materials and surface modifications. The dataset was further amplified by structural information derived from atomistic simulations of the iron carbide cores.
